Foundation Footers are Dug

Progress! The trenches for the footers have been dug. The footers were lined with rebar to help support the foundation. Next concrete will get poured in the trenches to form the base of our new house.

The wood is used where the grade of the ground slopes down to keep the concrete in the right levels. It’s reinforced with rebar to hold the wood into place. The wood will get removed before cement block gets laid.
